World Challenge Expeditions and Vango have enhanced their association by agreeing to a new three-year global partnership.
The two companies have been working together for over eight years, with the Scottish manufacturer providing World Challenge with expedition equipment and product support.
Vango, established in 1966, supply World Challenge with three varieties of bespoke dual branded tents for student and Expedition Leader usage as well as Trangia, Fuel 4 bio fuel and cargo bags.
Rod Hicks, Head of Logistics at World Challenge, is delighted to have put pen to paper on a new agreement and said: “This partnership is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a global supplier and our customers can be confident on the quality that comes with the Vango mark.
“By having a partnership with Vango we are able to develop and supply bespoke products, aided by the very feedback we receive from our Challengers and School Leaders globally on their expeditions.”
Mike Wise, Field Sales Controller at Vango, added: “We have and are committed to working closely with our partners in order to ensure the equipment we supply meets their varied needs.
“This relationship works both ways, as World Challenge’s input towards design is invaluable in ensuring the kit suits Challengers’ needs all over the world.
“Levels of service are unmatched in the industry, both in the UK and on a Global level, ensuring that what we are able to offer World Challenge in the UK is matched by the offer to their Global business centres as well.
“We are very excited by the opportunity this new three-year partnership offers, in terms of both product and service development,” he added.
