Win an Assembly with Gold Medallist Lizzy Yarnold
Ever wondered what it feels like to win an Olympic Gold Medal? Well now is your chance to find out.
World Challenge is offering one school the chance to have former World Challenger and Winter Olympics gold medallist Lizzy Yarnold visit them for the morning.
Lizzy went on the World Challenge Maya Route expedition (Belize, Guatemala & Mexico) with Maidstone Grammar School for Girls in 2006. She said: “My World Challenge certainly helped shape me into the person that I am today. It was a life-changing experience and provided me with memories that I will always fondly remember.”
Lizzy will speak about her expedition as well as recall her gold medal highlights at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, including life after Sochi. The Skeleton star can also spend some time speaking to students and teachers and answering questions. You may even get the chance to hold her actual gold medal!
How to enter: Your school needs to make a booking for a World Challenge expedition departing in 2015, for a team with a minimum of 12 students, by 30 September 2014. To get started, book an initial meeting with us now:
