Acclimatisation phase
Teams will either start in Johannesburg in South Africa, heading to Swaziland for acclimatisation trekking, or fly in to Beira in Central Mozambique for a warm-up trek in the Chimanimani mountains
Trekking phase
Wonderful trekking opportunities abound in Mozambique's Chimanimani Mountains, and the Malolotja Reserve and Ngwempisi Gorge in Swaziland, with community-base treks, beautiful forests, rolling plateaus and challenging mountain terrain to explore
Project phase
The community project is the central phase in an expedition to Mozambique and Swaziland, and you will spend around 10 days working on a wortwhhile community project in one of these countries.
Rest and relaxation phase
Both Mozambique and Swaziland offer abundant opportunities for R&R - from safaris in Mozambique's Gorongosa National Park or in Souh Africa's Kruger Reserves, to the beautiful white sand beaches of Mozambique's Indian Ocean coastline
