Hi,I've calmed down a little now!
Well, I've mainly raised funds through a Saturday job which I've had for nearly 2 years now. At one point I had 2 part-time jobs for extra income. I also do a daily paper round which adds to my income a little. Every little helps! As a team, we organised a cake sale at our local town Christmas lights switch on which was really successful as we raised around £250. I organised a small fund-raising night at a local pub which raised around £200. I am also holding another fund-raiser in February and, with the expedition cost paid now, money raised will go towards kit and vaccinations. I have done lots of car-boot sales around the Christmas Period and all together they raised approximately £300. Finally, I received two £100 donations from two local businesses which really helped. Fund-raising has been really enjoyable and every minute of it has been worthwhile!
