Photo competition 2011

Photo competition 2011 - The winners!

Every year we hold a photo competition where we invite our Challengers, School Leaders and Expedition Leaders to send in their best expedition photos and videos. We love receiving all the images and clips and the competition is always fierce!

We receive so many breath-taking images and we love to use them wherever we can.  It’s our teams’ first-hand experiences captured on film that show how amazing a World Challenge expedition really is.

There were two competitions this year – one for Challengers and one for staff (School Leaders, Expedition Leaders and staff). Out of the hundreds of entries we received we shortlisted the best photos in each category and our staff at World Challenge voted for their favourites in each competition.

We are happy to announce the winner of this year’s Challenger photo competition is Alex Lightfoot, Southend High School for Boys with this stunning image of the team trekking in Southern Peru

The winner of our staff photo competition is Richard Magee, Expedition Leader with this wonderful image from the teams project phase in Uganda

Well done to both of you, your prizes are on their way and thank you to everyone who sent in photos and clips, it was a pleasure to see them all!
