Its Amy from C.H.A.O.S (children’s holidays and other specialties), I just wanted to say a huge thank you from me, all the staff volunteers and the children who we were able to provide with a weeks camping holiday as without world challenge kindly donating tents to us we wouldn’t have been able to provide a holiday for children this year (so they would have spent their 6 week break from school at home), as we would have to raise enough money from fundraising to afford to buy more tents and afford activities for each weeks camp. The two camps we did were very successful this year, we were able to provide a holiday for 60 children this year who would otherwise have not got one, which we honestly could not have done without you as our old tents all had to be chucked away! So thank you once again for all your help, all the children had an amazing time and got to make new friends, be away from home for a week (which for some children is a week off from being a main carer to a parent or sibling) and do activities like swimming, bowling and learning circus skills which most of them never get to do at home! I have attached two photos of some of the children that we took away with the tents to say thank you once again!
