Arrival in Montenegro

Teams will typically fly into Dubrovnik in Croatia where they will meet their guides. Crossing the border into Montenegro with its rich culture and history, teams will head north taking in the stunning surroundings of the Dinaric Alps en route to their trekking destination.

Main trekking phase in Montenegro
Whilst trekking in Montenegro, teams will witness the breathtaking scenery of the Durmitor National Park, one of the most spectacular and least visited mountainous areas in Europe. Teams will complete up to 5 days of trekking, in the park, to stunning spots such as the V Skrcko Lake spending each night camping under the stars.

Rafting in Montenegro
Leaving terra firma behind, teams will head for the lush water of the Tara River. The Tara River cuts through a deep gorge and snakes its way through the Durmitor National Park. Teams will complete an 80km section of the river over 3 days. Camping along the way is a fantastic opportunity to absorb as much of Montenegro as possible.

Rest and Relaxation in Montenegro
After trekking and rafting it’s time for a well earned rest. On the way back through Montenegro your guide will show you points of interest. On crossing the border back into Croatia teams may have the opportunity for a spot of sea kayaking on the crystal blue waters of Zaton Bay or to explore old Dubrovnik town.
