MLTA

What is MLTA?

The Mountain Leader Training Association is part of MLT, the co-ordinating body for all mountain training schemes in the UK.

It was formed in 2005 to provide ongoing support and development opportunities for climbing, walking and mountain leaders who hold or are working towards a national award.

The Association organises further training events, social and networking occasions throughout the year in regional locations. MLTA is a web-based organisation, with a lively and active forum. MLTA offers services to members such as deals on liability insurance, gear and training.

MLTA gives you the opportunity to develop your outdoor career and experience.
