Not only are they interested in whether you can communicate your ideas effectively, but also can you integrate and become an integral member of their existing team? By demonstrating your experience of leading an expedition you are showing employers that you are reliable, adaptable and willing to face new challenges. |
The experience you gain as you lead an expedition will help you with job and university application forms, as well as providing you with situational examples for interview questions.
Lead an expedition and learn along the way
When you lead an expedition you will be working as part of a close team to achieve a united goal. You will live and work with people from all different backgrounds, learning to communicate your ideas and accept responsibility for your decisions.![]() |
Whilst it sounds like a lot of work, it’s actually a lot of fun. You will be learning without even realising it. From the wildlife you encounter, to the locals you meet, from learning about project planning, through to budgeting. When you lead an expedition the experience will shape you in more ways than you can imagine and many people return from a travel experience to find that they have learned more about life and personal development than they had in years at home. |
