The Maya Route expedition will take you on a journey through the colourful world of the ancient and modern Maya, from the volcanic peaks of Mexico to Belize’s jungles and Caribbean Coast. The exciting route offers awe-inspiring Mayan ruins, beautiful beaches, volcanoes and vibrant markets. There are several possible routings, giving lots of flexibility to teams exploring the land of the Maya. During your expedition you will have the opportunity to visit ancient cities, and learn about the astonishing Mayan civilisation. Many of the people you encounter on your journey will be direct descendents of the Maya, whose culture is still very much alive today. |

Our Challengers loved… Climbing up active volcanoes to see the red hot lava flow. Stepping out of their hostel onto the beach and diving into crystal blue waters. Experiencing the sights and sounds of the jungle whilst learning bushcraft on the move! Being on night-time turtle patrols along the beach. Visiting the world’s only jaguar reserve. Climbing up ancient ruins to watch the sunrise over the jungle canopy. Reaching the summit of the highest peak in Central America. |
