Introduction to the Maya Route expedition

This expedition will take you through some of Central America’s most spectacular countries. You will journey through the colourful world of the ancient and modern Maya, from the volcanic peaks of Mexico to Belize’s jungles and the Caribbean Coast. The exciting route offers awe-inspiring Mayan ruins, beautiful beaches, volcanoes and vibrant markets. Few places offer such a great combination of cultural and natural wonders.

There are several possible routings, giving lots of flexibility to teams exploring the land of the Maya. During your expedition you will have the opportunity to visit ancient cities, and learn about the astonishing Mayan civilisation. Many of the people you encounter on your journey will be direct descendents of the Maya, whose culture is still very much alive today.
