World Challenge Europe

World Challenge has been organising exciting expedition programmes for schools based in mainland Europe and Ireland since April 2001 and is currently working with schools in Switzerland, Holland and Ireland. Expeditions will soon be available for schools based in Spain, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Austria and we are always pleased to hear from other interested schools to see if we can meet your needs.

World Challenge has a team of Local Managers who are located around mainland Europe. Local Managers are ideally placed to personally manage your school’s expedition programme whilst liaising regularly with the UK-based World Challenge staff. All expeditions also benefit from the safety and back-up offered by World Challenge’s London-based operations centre.

Many of the expedition programmes that we offer meet the requirements of the CAS Scheme, an integral part of the International Baccalaureate Diploma, and, as such, are a brilliant opportunity to inspire students about their studies. More information about World Challenge and the IB can be found by clicking here. World Challenge’s expeditions can also be used to work towards the International Award.

World Challenge Europe Expeditions

World Challenge offers expeditions that range from one week to one month to one of over thirty destinations around the world. The expeditions typically include rewarding community project work, trekking and cultural adventure. Expeditions are preceded by a powerful 10 – 18 month team building and skills development programme designed to challenge students both physically and mentally, enabling them to learn important new skills and, of course, to have fun! Full details regarding the expedition phases and destinations can be found within the expedition section.
