Duke of Edinburgh team numbers

The DofE has specific requirements regarding team numbers in order for an expedition to be accredited. These are not flexible but there a number of ways to make this fit with the needs of your team.

How big should the team be?
The school must guarantee a field of between 4 and 7 individuals within a World Challenge expedition team who wish to take part in a DofE programme.

Can there be multiple groups?
Yes, we can accommodate multiple DofE groups.
For example: a team of 14 could contain 2 x groups of 7 Challengers doing a DofE programme.  Other combinations are also possible down to 2 x groups of 4 Challengers doing a DofE programme. 

Do all students have to take part?
It is perfectly acceptable that some Challengers within a World Challenge team are not doing a DofE programme provided a least 4 Challengers within the team are participating.
