Teddies for Tragedies
World Challenge works with Teddies for Tragedies who provide knitted teddies to children in refugee camps, orphanages and hospitals in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and South America. Our expedition members act as couriers, taking as many of these teddies as possible to children all over the world.This year was a real success. We sent out loads of teddies, so many that we had to request a second batch! Teddies went to Cambodia, Bolivia, Zambia, Kyrgyzstan and Malawi.
If you wish to request some Teddies (for free) to take to the children on your expedition project, please send a specific request to your School Programme Manager. There may be a limited number of teddies so get your requests in quickly!
