Arrive Beijing, explore the city and rest and relaxation options

Day 4

Depart Beijing for Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia.

Day 5

Meet with the In-Country Agent, then shop at the Black Market for riding boots, cooking and food supplies

Day 6-8

Travel across the Mongolian steppe to Khatgal for horse trekking 

Day 9-19

Horse trek in East Khovsgul, northern Mongolia

Day 20-22

Return to Ulaan Baatar by vehicle and the Trans-Mongolian Railway from Erdernet

Day 23-27

Verbist Children's Centre project

Day 28

Return to Ulaan Baatar

Binder project – rural primary school/kindergarten

Return to Ulaan Baatar

Depart Ulaan Baatar for Beijing, afternoon sightseeing

A real expedition! Mongolia is one of the last unspoilt destinations in Asia. Remote horseback riding across the vast Mongolian steppe while being invited into Gers, or yurts, by the nomadic farmers is something you will never forget.
