The business has a number of different and exciting departments to get involved in. Here are just a few to give you a taste of what functions we have in the UK.
The people who support the Challengers, teachers and parents throughout their World Challenge journey. This includes regional specialists for every teacher and every school we work with; a customer support team ready to answer any questions anyone has, and an events team who organise our brilliant fundraising events.
Without these guys we wouldn’t have a product. They design and build each individual expedition to ensure all runs smoothly. This ranges from booking the team flights to getting them out on expedition, to liaising with our agents in country to book the treks chosen by each team.
This department focuses on safety and logistics for the expedition. This ranges from a team dedicated solely to sourcing and placing Expedition Leaders, to the people who work in our 24/7 Operations Centre.
Sales and Marketing
A regional sales team that manages our schools and gets them excited about the World Challenge product. Working alongside them is the marketing team who create all our fantastic marketing material, shout about how we change students' lives in the media, shoot video content and share the latest World Challenge news via our website and social media channels.
Making the company go round – our finance and IT department. But not just any IT! Our in-house team are constantly developing new methods to connect with our stakeholders and ensure they are engaged and informed.
